[Openmd-users] installing open md?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I want to install openmd but I got the following error after following all
installation guides. I wonder if you could help me. Thanks!

 

-bash-3.2$ ./configure --with-openbabel=/usr --with-qhull=/usr
--with-fftw=/usr --prefix=/opt/local

checking host system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu

checking whether the C++ compiler works... no

configure: error: in `/nfs/05/uak0251/openmd-1.1.4':

configure: error: C++ compiler cannot create executables
